New Technology Advisory Board by Knovel

Committed to offering a superior cloud-based application integrating technical information with analytical and search tools, Knovel recently announced the creation of its Technology Advisory Board. Filled with NYC-based technologists, the Board will help Knovel continue to provide engineers with the most advanced technology for identifying and accessing content resources.

Knovel’s Technology Advisory Board members, selected based upon technology leadership, offer diverse perspectives on trends related to business models, technology systems and building technology teams. Members will advise Knovel on decisions related to the product roadmap, specifically focusing on integrating new technical elements into Knovel’s platform.

“As a technology company targeting engineers in the B2B information market, we see tremendous untapped opportunity,” said Knovel CEO Chris Forbes. “To be on the leading edge of technology – integrating into engineers’ daily work and social interactions in the workplace – we want to challenge our assumptions and broaden our perspective. Our new team of senior technology advisors will support our development and product management teams as we continuously improve our user experience and our technology delivers on our mission to be the first place engineers come to solve problems.”

The Technology Advisory Board’s initial members include Andy Parsons, Co-founder and CEO, Happify, Harish R. Rao, Founder and Principal, Interpersonal Frequency, LLC, and George Weiner, CTO, DoSomething.org. The members have experience building technology companies and developing advanced social networking strategies. Together they will offer insight and advice as Knovel enhances its technology and creates new product offerings.

“Knovel is a central hub of trusted information for thousands of engineers worldwide, and I see tremendous opportunity for this platform,” said Harish R. Rao. “I love what Knovel offers engineers, and I’m equally excited about working with the Knovel team and the advisory board on product enhancements.”
