Project for Proctor & Gamble completed by SDH Building Services Limited

Commercial building services company, SDH Building Services Limited, is pleased to have finished a project for international conglomerate Proctor & Gamble.

The company, based in Bolton, Lancashire, has spent eight weeks replacing a fire damper control system at Proctor & Gamble’s premises at Brooklands in Surrey.

Steve Hunt, Managing Director, said: “The work means that in the event of a fire, any smoke is stopped from passing through corridors and allows employees to leave the building more easily and safely.

“It was a very technically demanding project which involved lots of liaison with Proctor & Gamble’s other contractors and facilities management team.

“It was also a ‘live’ project, meaning that we have to work round employees in offices which tested our logistical and organisational skills too. Despite this challenge, there was not a single complaint from staff during the work.”

He added: “We are delighted to have been chosen to carry out this project by such a high profile company.”

SDH Building Services Limited provides a wide range of building services in commercial buildings such as supermarkets, offices, hotels, restaurants, factories, schools and care homes - nationwide.

Its services include commercial heating, plumbing, electrical and air conditioning both on a sub-contract or a direct-to-the-client basis.
