Liverpool Waste Site Expands Fleet With Finlay Central

North West based CCC Waste has taken delivery of two new Terex Finlay machines from Finlay Central – taking its fleet to 10 machines operating across the company’s four depots.

The introduction of the Terex Finlay J-1175+ Jaw Crusher and the Terex Finlay 694+ Supertrak from Finlay Central at CCC Waste’s Liverpool site – based in Kirkby – means the facility is now well-placed to deliver industry-leading recycling targets.

The company, which has four bases around Merseyside and the surrounding area, recycles 100 per cent of demolition materials and 99 per cent of skip hire materials.

At the Kirkby site, the J-1175+ is working in tandem with the 694+ screen, to crush waste material before it can be fed through the triple deck screen, with the 694+ producing clean material at minus 4,10mm and 20mm. This is then stockpiled and sold for pipe bedding.

The Terex Finlay J-1175+, incorporates a heavy duty crusher and undercarriage, with exceptional on site mobility. The machine also includes a new Tier 4 engine, which helps CCC Waste in its ongoing goal to reduce its carbon footprint.

Along with quick set up times and ease of transport, the crusher includes a
heavy duty vibrating grizzly feeder with automatic control to regulate the feed, plus a hydrostatic drive and reverse crushing action to assist in clearing blockages.

The machine’s automatic variable speed also ensures continuous choke feeding of the crushing chamber for optimal productivity.

Established in 1986 by Ian Munroe - who started out in business with one tipping truck – CCC Waste is now run by Ian’s son Sean.
It is one of the largest waste recycling centres in the UK, supplying 15,000 tonnes of recycled crushed brick, concrete, soil and sand a week to Blue Chip clients operating in the utilities sector.
