Cerro Wire LLC Donated 15,000 Feet Of Their Wire To Extreme Makeover Home Edition Project

Extreme Makeover's next episode is on december 2, 2011.
Cerro Wire LLC, a leading manufacturer of copper electrical building wire and cable, announces that 15,000 feet of their wire was used in the Springfield, MA house that will be featured on the ABC network’s hit show.

Program production staff worked around the clock to get the entire house built in just seven days, and said they were excited to bring some light to this home and to the family. The home required 15,375 feet of wire and it took more than an hour to open all the packages that arrived in several truckloads. The wiring was completed in just under nine hours.

Cerrowire donated NM-B residential wire in sizes 14 AWG through 8 AWG. Cerrowire’s Cirtex® NM-B with ground is 600 Volts UL-rated nonmetallic-sheathed cable, available in sizes 14 AWG through 2 AWG.

Lead builder Nick Riley, of N Riley Construction, based in Chicopee, MA said, "When I heard about the customer service and quality that Cerro Wire is known for, I knew without a doubt that they'd be the one we'd pick for the job. The project went off without a hitch. We are so grateful for their contribution, and it’s been a real pleasure working with them."

Dale Crawford, Cerro Wire’s Marketing Manager, said, “We were delighted to be selected to supply the wire for this incredible project. The project is going off without a hitch and it’s been a real pleasure working with the electrical contractor, construction team, and the entire production team. The family is going to be really happy."
