Painting and Decorating Association Appoints New Chief Executive

The Painting and Decorating Association was established in July 2002, following a merger of the British Decorators’ Association and the Painting & Decorating Federation. The Painting and Decorating Association (PDA) has appointed Neil Ogilvie to the role of chief executive.
Neil takes responsibility for the Association’s work across the UK and the management of its head office in Nuneaton.

A former National President of the Association, Neil, of Wakefield in West Yorkshire, was a PDA member from 1984 until his appointment as chief executive in July of this year. He brings to the role extensive experience as a professional decorator and wide-ranging knowledge of the PDA.

As well as attracting new members, Neil is setting out to raise the profile of the PDA and forming collaborations with other trade bodies and groups in the property-related sector.

Neil said: “The PDA is a well respected and established trade association, and I am delighted to be appointed to the role of chief executive.”
