New Business Development Manager for Lakesmere International
Lakesmere International has been appointed to work on a number of high-profile projects including the Princess Noura University in Riyadh, where the company is delivering a multi-million dollar Kalzip roofing contract. With existing offices in both Abu Dhabi and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Lakesmere International is also planning to establish premises in Oman to support a number of newly won contracts.
Formerly known as Lakesmere Middle East, the business division has now been renamed to better reflect its global reach and Lakesmere International is currently working towards securing a number of new contracts in the aviation sector as well as targeting projects outside of the Middle East.
Lakesmere has appointed a new Business Development Manager. Taking on the new role is Ross Callicott who has over 20 years’ experience in sales and business development in both the UK, Europe and latterly in the Middle East. As Lakesmere International’s new Business Development Manager, Ross will be working closely with the company’s head office in the UK as well as with local partners to secure roofing and cladding contracts across the Middle East, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), North Africa and other emerging markets.
Ross brings with a wealth of experience and extensive knowledge of the Middle East market having previously being employed as General Manager for one of Oman’s largest business house. Here, Ross was responsible for corporate business development in a variety of areas including partnerships, joint ventures and investments linked to the country’s major infrastructure projects, as well as renewable energy, waste management and industrial investments.
