CH Products' New AG Series Handle Allows The User To İnterface With The Machine More Effectively For Longer Periods Of Time

Prior to designing the AG Series handle, CH Products partnered with a “Human Factors” engineering firm to develop a handle that’s intuitive and easy to use. Similar in concept to a television remote control, the ergonomic design acts as an extension of the operator, allowing the user to interface with the machine more effectively for longer periods of time.

CH Products new AG Series Handle provides an innovative approach for machine control of off-highway equipment and agriculture applications. Professionally designed for optimal ergonomics, the AG Series joystick is a breakthrough in performance, reliability and operator comfort. Environmentally sealed to IP67 and available with CANbus J1939 interface, the AG Series joystick is ideally suited for agriculture machines including sprayers, harvesters and shredders.

The AG Series handle is the first CH Products joystick to feature an elastomer keypad, introducing a fresh approach to the industrial joystick category while setting new ergonomic standards with familiar and easy to read controls. The elastomer keypad is constructed of high quality black silicon and features 21 normally open switches, two status LEDs as well as ambient backlit blue LED illumination. The blue backlighting provides excellent joystick operation and visibility even in dimly lit conditions

The AG Series handle is available as a Fixed Grip hand controller or as a one or two axis joystick. When configured as a complete joystick, the AG Series features non-contacting Hall effect sensors for 10 million lifecycle performance. The Hall effect sensors are fully protected against EMC interference and are programmable for a variety of analog voltage and CANbus outputs.
