Webinar Explains The Key Steps To A Successful Green Building Project
An upcoming webinar will urge attendees to ensure that their next projects consider green building strategies and responsibilities at key stages, leaving no opportunity for cost-savings or innovation behind, while keeping building owners on board the entire time.
WPL Publishing will hold the 90-minute webinar that is designed to help various professionals in the construction community understand the key steps to a successful green building project, including Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)-registered projects. The event is scheduled for Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. (EDT).
Attendees are expected to leave the webinar with a much better understanding of how to best manage a successful design process while incorporating cost-acceptable green strategies along the way.
The webinar, entitled “The Successful LEED/Green Design Process,” will help attendees do the following:
Prepare a successful green building project plan.
Identify key places in the plan to measure green building benchmarks of the project throughout the building process.
Analyze design goals, construction challenges, and green process obstacles.
Prepare a building owner for the green building process and keep that owner informed.
Addressing attendees will be Bill Bobenhausen, president of Sustainable Design Collaborative Llc. He has served as an environmental architect/author/educator for more than 30 years and has consulted on more than 400 high-performance-building projects.
Following his presentation, there will be an interactive 10-to-15 minute question-and-answer session addressing relevant topics.
Webinar tuition is based on location, not number of participants, so each registration site can have multiple participants for one low price.
