New President for Trainor Glass Company

Trainor Glass Company designs, engineers and installs glass products and framing systems in virtually every architectural application, including new construction, green building solutions, building rehabilitation, storefronts and entrances, tenant interiors, and custom specialty work. Trainor Glass has announced that Brian T. Clark will succeed Tom Trainor as President of Trainor Glass Company. As CFO, Tom Trainor will focus on continued strategic growth along with Bob Trainor, CEO.

Clark praised the Trainor family for building an extraordinary company that he has been a part of since he was 16 years old. In 1991, Brian filled out his first and only job application with Trainor Glass and started sweeping floors. Soon after, he was promoted to fabrication and installation – learning all aspects of the curtain wall and glazing industry. Later, he was promoted to estimator and in 1995 to Project Manager, during which time he was responsible for overseeing some of the most prestigious curtain wall installations in the Chicago area, including McCormick Place Convention Center, State Farm Corporate Headquarters and the first cable-net system in the country at One North Wacker.

In 2000, Clark started the Dallas Division from the ground up with milk crates and a piece of plywood as a desk. Within a few short years it became Trainor’s Best Performing Division which it continues to be through today with showcase regional projects that include the Omni Fort Worth Hotel, Dallas Omni Hotel and Convention Center, Hunt Corporate Headquarters, One Arts Plaza and the newest- Museum Tower – Live for the Arts. As Senior Executive Vice President, Clark led his North Carolina team in one of Trainor Glass’ largest curtain wall projects to date, Bank of America, located in the heart of downtown Charlotte, North Carolina.
