MSite Lite helps Dornan Engineering manage staff time and attendance records at Alstom Power Station

MSite has been selected by Dornan Engineering to help them manage staff time and attendance records at Alstom Power Station in Pembroke, South Wales.

Human Recognition System’s MSite Lite provides the full workforce management functionality of MSite, which includes time and attendance, CSCS Accreditation and incident reporting, which also helps the company to adhere to health and safety regulations.

The difference between the well-known MSite product and the ‘Lite’ version is that there is no access control feature and functions without the need for turnstiles but still manages the credentials of the work force. This is a perfect solution for Alstom Power Station because Dornan Engineering provides site accommodation but needs to manage their team’s attendance on-site.

“We are delighted to help Dornan Engineering manage their on-site construction teams with MSite Lite. This allows companies to clearly see when staff arrive and leave, which means they pay staff for the actual hours worked,” said Rob Cummerson, account manager at HRS.

“Another advantage of this product lies with its ability to continuously monitor staff’s professional accreditation in-line with health and safety regulations, so construction companies know they are keeping their sites safe.”

The complex nature and layout of Alstom Power Station prompted HRS to provide a very different solution to meet the client’s needs. MSite Lite’s wireless link between access reader and the enrolment reader installed at the site accommodation ensures that all transactions are transmitted quickly and efficiently while not being affected by the day-to-day running of the site.
