Siltbuster's Roadside Concrete Washwater Treatment Unit Delivered To Bam Nuttall Plant

Developed by Siltbuster Ltd, the Roadside Concrete Washwater Treatment Unit (RCW) captures and treats high pH water generated by the washing down of concrete truck delivery chutes on construction sites, reducing the risk of pollution by neutralising the high alkaline content of concrete washwater prior to discharge.

BAM Nuttall Plant has taken delivery of its first liveried RCW. Supplied in BAM Nuttall’s own corporate colours it will initially be located on a construction site near Lewes in East Sussex, where some 30,000m3 of fresh concrete is being handled.
