Elliott Hire's Eco-Cabins Help Users Reduce Energy Consumption

Elliott Off-Site Building Solutions is helping customers reduce their carbon footprint by taking delivery of several Eco-Cabins from sister company Elliott Hire. Eco-Cabin is now being used on all Elliott Off-Site Building Solutions’ developments. Elliott Hire's Eco-Future range of portable buildings has been specially developed to help users reduce energy consumption and benefit from lower energy costs.

The new Eco-Cabin range achieves an Energy Performance Rating of B. This includes an improved thermal envelope, more energy efficient doors and windows, along with improvements to lighting, heating and water systems.

Compared to a standard anti-vandal portable cabin, the Eco-Cabin range now used by Elliott Off-Site Building Solutions offers potential energy savings of up to 74 per cent. This equates to around 2,380Kg of CO2 pa based on 50 per cent occupancy, compared with a standard AV unit. It also provides significant savings in water use.

Elliott Off-Site Building Solutions acts as concept designer and principal contractor during construction phase and therefore requires high quality, robust accommodation on site.
