Larkfleet Group To Build Fifteen Home Affordable Housing Development İn Lincolnshire

A new development of fifteen home affordable housing development in Billingborough, Lincolnshire will comprise nine two-bedroom houses, three three-bedroom houses and one four-bedroom house. The development will also include two two-bedroom bungalows with one especially designed for residents with mobility problems.

Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA) has designed the scheme in partnership with Larkfleet Group. Larkfleet will construct the properties to help meet the need for quality housing for local people who cannot afford to buy their own homes.

The properties will be available for rent and through shared ownership from NCHA, a leading affordable housing provider in the East Midlands.

The properties meet the Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3 – some 25 per cent above the standard building regulations specification for energy performance – which highlights Larkfleet Group’s and NCHA's commitment to creating affordable, well-built and energy-efficient homes.

The timber frame construction method being used is an efficient method of building which allows for quicker construction times. Timber frames for the homes were supplied and erected by Kestrel Timber Frame – based in nearby Market Deeping, Lincolnshire – which is part of the Larkfleet Group.
