Joint Government And İndustry Board To Provide The Framework For The Development Of A Low Carbon Construction Delivery Plan
As part of the Government’s Low Carbon Construction Plan, a joint Government and industry board will provide the framework for the development of a low carbon construction delivery plan to decarbonise the built environment by 2050.
The National Insulation Association (NIA) has welcomed the proposal. Neil Marshall, Chief Executive of the NIA, commented: “The creation of the board is welcomed by the insulation industry and we look forward to working with the Government in developing a plan to insulate Britain’s housing stock. The development of a robust plan is extremely important to the insulation industry and will enable companies to formulate business and investment plans to support the achievements of the Governments climate change targets.”
