Larkfleet Group To Construct Affordable Apartments For Adults With Learning Disabilities in Nottinghamshire

An affordable development in Clifton, Nottinghamshire, will comprise four self - contained apartments for adults with learning disabilities and two apartments especially designed for residents with mobility problems. Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA) designed the scheme in partnership with Larkfleet Group which will construct the apartments to help meet the need for quality housing and will include properties designed especially for wheelchair users.

The properties meet the Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3 – some 25 per cent above the standard building regulations specification for energy performance.

The timber frame construction being used is an efficient method of building which allows for quicker construction times. Timber frames for the homes will be supplied and erected by Kestrel Timber Frame, part of the Larkfleet Group.
