Armoury to demolish the Gardenmore House towerblock in Northern Ireland

Armoury has been instructed to undertake the removal of Larne's Gardenmore House – a 16 storey Bison panel towerblock situated in the Riverdale area of the town centre. Armoury Group has been appointed by the Northern Ireland Housing Executive to demolish the ageing towerblock in the heart of Larne, County Antrim.

The £500k ultra-high reach demolition of Gardenmore House is estimated to take 26 weeks to complete and will clear the way for re-landscaping and improved local amenities.

John Spence, from the project’s consultants, Doran Consulting, commented: “Armoury has proven experience in safely conducting demolition in densely populated areas, which is important for a project such as this, due to the close proximity Gardenmore House has to other buildings and homes. We very much look forward to working alongside them to achieve a smooth and successful transition for those affected by the works.”
